ONE Championship Masters of Fate 2019 Live

ONE Championship Masters of Fate 2019 Live: ONE Championship Masters of Fate 2019 Live Stream The Philippines’ best martial artists will take center stage when ONE Championship returns to Manila’s Mall of Asia Arena for ONE: MASTERS OF FATE.The ONE Strawweight World Title is on the line in the main event, with reigning king Joshua Pacio defending his belt against Wushu World Champion Rene Catalan.

For just the second time in ONE Championship history, a pair of Filipinos will battle for a ONE World Championship, as reigning ONE Strawweight World Champion Joshua “The Passion” Pacio puts his title on the line against multiple-time Wushu gold medalist Rene ‘D’ Challenger’ Catalan in the main event of ONE: Masters of Fate, Friday, November 8th at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Manila, Philippines.

The 23-year old Pacio, a rising star from the famed Team Lakay camp in La Trinidad, Benguet, is a two-time world champion and is looking to get a first successful title defense under his belt. “The Passion” is coming off a scintillating head kick knockout victory over former champion Yosuke Saruta to reclaim the title back in April.

A former Philippine Wushu National Team member, Catalan began his mixed martial arts career late, and suffered back-to-back defeats in his first two outings. The Catalan Fighting System founder has never looked back since then, racking up an impressive six consecutive wins, with his latest conquest being former two-time champion Yoshitaka Naito, being the first man to TKO the Japanese grappler. The 40-year old now looks to capture his first world title in MMA.

Also on the card, a couple of Filipino fan favorites and former world champions make their return to action, as two-time ONE Lightweight World Champion Eduard “Landslide” Folayang looks to snap a two-match losing skid when he faces Mongolian up-and-comer Amarsanaa “Spear” Tsogookhuu in the lightweight co-main event, and former ONE Flyweight World Champion Geje “Gravity” Eustaquio also looks to bounce back when he meets Finland’s Toni “Dynamite” Tauru in a rematch of their 2016 bout.

Plus, Robin “The Ilonggo” Catalan hopes to set the tone for his older brother Rene, as he meets Cuban wrestler Gustavo “El Gladiador” Balart in the preliminary card, and reigning ONE Women’s Atomweight Muay Thai and Kickboxing World Champion Stamp Fairtex of Thailand continues her journey towards a third world championship as she meets Vietnamese-American striker Bi “Killer Bee” Nguyen in a women’s atomweight MMA bout.
ONE’s strawweight title is on the line in the main event between current champion Joshua Pacio and challenger Rene Catalan. Team Lakay’s Pacio claimed the divisional title in September last year over Yoshitaka Naito in a title fight rematch; their 2016 bout seeing Naito defend his belt by submission. Pacio’s first defense did not go to plan dropping a close decision to Yosuke Saruta in January.

However, a “Knockout of the Year” contender would come in their rematch with Pacio’s knee finishing the title fight in round four. His opponent, Catalan, looks to add a seventh straight victory underneath the ONE banner. Multiple victories over newcomers led to his biggest test in July of 2018 against then-undefeated Stefer Rahardian, taking the unanimous decision. Catalan would back it up in March by taking out the aforementioned Yoshitaka Natio by knockout in the first, propelling him to this title fight with Pacio.ONE: “Masters of Fate” is set for Manila on Friday night. In the main event Johua Pacio puts his 115-pound title on the line against Rene Catalan in a strawweight clash. The card also features Filipino star Eduard Folayang.

There is also an intriguing atomweight belt between Bi Nguyen and Stamp Fairtex. The former was beaten by a Burmese fighter on her promotional debut while the latter is the reigning kickboxing and Muay Thai champion.Bi Nguyen (5-4) has gone to a split decision in her last two ONE Championship bouts and hasn’t looked too impressive on either occasion. She lost to a boxer from Myanmar after deciding to engage her in a striking battle.

That would surely be a mistake against Muay Thai veteran Stamp Fairtex (2-0) who might have a very limited ground game. If Nguyen can take her down it will be interesting, but if the Vietnamese American decides to make this a standup fight she will be at a considerable disadvantage.

Tensions rose during the tournament in Japan when Scotland’s pivotal group game with the hosts was put under threat by Typhoon Hagibis. With Scotland needing to win to have a chance of progression, Dodson said he did not want his side to be “collateral damage” of the fallout of the typhoon.

But in announcing the decision of an independent disputes committee, World Rugby said Dodson’s comments, “which suggested an unfair and disorganised treatment of all teams”, merited a reprimand, a written apology and a £70,000 fine. The game in question did go ahead, and Scotland lost 28-21 to go out of the tournament.

Scottish Rugby has responded by stating “we will now reflect on this outcome and further consider our options, which may include arbitration”.n its statement, World Rugby said it had invited the SRU to make an apology and a donation to the typhoon disaster relief fund but that the SRU had “suggested alternative wording which included a mutual expression of regret from both parties, and no apology.

Houstons Rockets and the surging Phoenix Suns. They are averaging over 115 points per game on close to 50% shooting from the field as a unit.

Leonard sat out the match, which was a scheduled absence despite it being nationally televised, and left fans angry after not being able to see the stars clash.

“I’m not trying to be disrespectful towards anyone or hurt anyone’s feelings but I’ve played with Kawhi, I know he’s a tough competitor but I know he wants to play the game,” he said.

“I don’t know who tells him not to play or tells him to take a break.

“I think the NBA usually gives us 22 or 21 days off throughout the season. In games like this, I’m going to do try whatever it takes to help my team to win and coach Bud knows that. He would never come to me and say ‘look Giannis, you need to take a break in a game like this’. I would not allow that to happen.”But NBA analyst Doris Burke tore into Leonard and the load management issue on ESPN’s Get Up.

“It is mind-boggling that Kawhi doesn’t want to play the reigning MVP and he’d rather play against Portland on TNT,” she said. “I believe the league has a long-term problem, when it pinches them, I don’t know. But Kawhi not playing is ridiculous at this point.

“He is a great player, he is compelling to watch and the Clippers have a responsibility to Kawhi and to winning and to long-term but the league should be concerned that their best players are not playing on nights when they’re on national television.

“People tune in because they want to see the players who are so compelling. But Kawhi not playing, I’m not there tonight but I am disappointed for my colleagues and I’m disappointed for the fans. When this pinches the NBA I do not know but to me, the league has a problem.”The following statement has been issued by the NBA regarding the LA Clippers and the playing status of forward Kawhi Leonard:

“Following additional review of the LA Clippers not playing Kawhi Leonard in last night’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks, the NBA has confirmed that the team’s decision to sit Leonard for management of an injury was consistent with league rules. The team has reasonably determined that Leonard is suffering from an ongoing injury to the patella tendon in his left knee and has been placed by the team at this time on an injury protocol for back-to-back games.

“The NBA has fined the Clippers $50,000 for statements, including by head coach Doc Rivers, that were inconsistent with Leonard’s health status.”The Los Angeles Clippers were fined $50,000 by the N.B.A. on Thursday — punishment for a public proclamation by Coach Doc Rivers that his star forward Kawhi Leonard “feels great” after the league, based on medical information provided by the Clippers, deemed Leonard to be injured.

Georgia, meanwhile, hosts Kentucky as it looks to rebound from a potentially season-defining loss. The Bulldogs lost at home 20-17 to SEC East rivals South Carolina in double overtime and dropped from No. 3 to No. 10.

Meanwhile, Oklahoma climbed up a spot to No. 5 after beating Texas 34-27 in Dallas in the Red River Showdown. The defeat sent the previously No. 11 ranked Longhorns down to No. 15, while Ohio State slid from No. 3 to No. 4 after a bye week.

Oklahoma welcomes West Virginia in Week 8, while the Buckeyes travel to Illinois to face Northwestern on Friday night.

Elsewhere, Penn State climbed from No. 10 to No.7 with a 17-12 road win over Iowa and will take on No. 16 Michigan at home in Week 8. The Hawkeyes, meanwhile, slipped from 17th to 23rd after their loss to the Nittany Lions and host Purdue on Saturday.
